Salary | Salary will be based on a four-point scale which categorises experience, qualifications and skills. |
Duration | 2 years |
Working hours | 26 hours per week (16 teaching hours); Tuesday to Saturday – mostly from 4pm to 8pm. Most of the teaching will take place in British Council Rose Hill, but teachers are sometimes required to teach from Grand Baie La Croisette. |

Role overview
- Plan, prepare and deliver up to 16 hours a week of high quality English language teaching to kids (aged from 5-17 years old) and adult learners.
- Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to help manage students’ performance throughout the course, and actively promote learner autonomy.
- Contribute to the development, evaluation, and improvement of English language courses, materials and related services, in order to meet students’ needs by actively working as a member of the teaching team.
- Actively engage in continual professional development and performance management to ensure quality and high standards in teaching and learning.
