Location Rose Hill
Salary Salary will be based on a four-point scale which categorises experience, qualifications and skills.
Duration 2 years
Working hours 26 hours per week (16 teaching hours); Tuesday to Saturday – mostly from 4pm to 8pm. Most of the teaching will take place in British Council Rose Hill, but teachers are sometimes required to teach from Grand Baie La Croisette.

Role overview

  • Plan, prepare and deliver up to 16 hours a week of high quality English language teaching to kids (aged from 5-17 years old) and adult learners. 
  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to help manage students’ performance throughout the course, and actively promote learner autonomy.
  • Contribute to the development, evaluation, and improvement of English language courses, materials and related services, in order to meet students’ needs by actively working as a member of the teaching team.
  • Actively engage in continual professional development and performance management to ensure quality and high standards in teaching and learning.
